about

Long ago, in the realm of Hubordel, a sinister goblin called Inusept, stole a mystical power source from the greatest wizard the world had ever known. With this awesome power, he desecrated the wizard's tomb, emptying the wizard's magic scepter of the last of its great energies. Inusept then used the spoils of his thievery to increase his physical strength tenfold. He was also able to change his form to that of a partial apparition, using a guise of omnipotence, coupled with sinister propaganda to build an army and enslave the people. Inusept then adopted the moniker, "The Master Wraith, Lord of the Goblin Race", which he used to strike fear into every corner of the realm.

King Hubordel, a passionate and noble human king, had ruled over the land for many years until the Master Wraith came to power. With his queen and his heirs, he saw the realm through an era of peace and prosperity. But on one fateful night, Inusept used his ghostly powers to slip into Hubordel Castle undetected, where he fatally poisoned the king. And with King Hubordel dead and buried, Inusept had rid the realm of its last spark of hope and light.

Upon learning of the king's demise, the mysterious sorceress, Aylinda, gave her life to bring Hubordel back from the dead. She breathed new life into the fallen king and gifted him the last of her magic, before passing beyond the veil and into the spirit realm.

Now on a quest to save his family, free his people and defeat the Master Wraith, the Ghost-King Hubordel rides forth into the haunted realm named for his family, where unprecedented challenges and ghastly creatures await him...

lyrics

In this cursed land
No one is to be pardoned for crimes committed
For justice left undone
For evil allowed to breed, unchallenged
For darkness allowed to spread, unnoticed

Here I am, high above the throne
Looking down on misery, a kingdom unsewn
I see you, I see you looking back at me
Sinister! Tyrant! I never saw you coming

My spirit left alone for centuries
Eyes slowly opening, tears slowly falling
The memories consume me as my mind reforms
My regrets transport me back through the ages

Here I am, high above the palace
Looking down on decay, a house of disgrace
I see you, I see you staring back
Cold eyes! Wretched lies! I wish I saw you coming

"And amidst the darkest days of rule within the realm of Hubordel, a dying witch had no choice but to cast one final spell...
So much death and despair, since the master wraith came to power...
A haunting fell upon the world, with little hope left for it to devour...
Now, the people have all but surrendered, no hope left in their eyes...
Save for the man who once held the throne, a great king had once met his demise...
Only in death, can the king truly realize his destiny
In this haunted, cursed realm, only a fool would believe life ends with the body..."

Climbing up from this grave
I wipe the dirt from my eyes to see the light
Looking up to the sky, I can only find a sea of grey
I can only find pain, within the cracked walls of this society

Life does not end with the body
Life does not end by a mortal decree
Only the eternal can decide our fate
Only the black arts can control my destiny

Here I am, high above the realm
Looking down on your torturous ways
I see you, I see you staring into my eyes
Your eyes full of hate, your days are numbered
